Ripple lists projects receiving round 2 funding from 250 million USD Fund

Ripple has just announced projects to receive round 2 funding from a $250 million creative fund, focusing on promoting NFT ecosystems on the XRP Ledger.

After testing EVM-compatible sidechains for the XRP Ledger, Ripple has just announced the list of 2nd round supported projects from the $250 million Ripple Creator Fund launched last September.

 

9Level9 Productions, Anifie, Capital Block, NFT Avatar Maker, NFT Master, SYFR Projects and ThinkingCrypto are among the names that Ripple noticed in this round, from 4,000 applications.

Markus Infanger – Vice President of RippleX Growth shared that Ripple prioritizes choosing projects that have the power and potential to promote the use case of cryptocurrencies. Mr. Infanger said:

“This new round of funding focuses on entertainment and media, especially music. We want to provide indie creators with the technical, financial and marketing support they need to transform the creative economy, deliver new business models and deepen connections with the community. copper."

Ripple wants to make it easy and fast for any developer to access the NFT market on the XRP Ledger. XRP Ledger is positioned as a leading NFT mint and management platform where creators and developers come together to explore NFT utility in many distinctive ways. 

The innovative fund was launched at a time when the company was still "at war" with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Ripple Labs has consistently beaten the SEC in court, judge Analisa Torres ruled based on documents written by former SEC Director William Hinman.
