Terra: Has Do Kwon disappeared from Singapore?

Do Kwon, the most wanted figure in the cryptocurrency market today, was told by the Singapore police that he is currently not present in the island nation.

As reported on September 14, Do Kwon - the founder of Terraform Labs - received an arrest warrant from the Korean Court for violating capital market regulations following the collapse of two LUNA cryptocurrencies. and UST caused more than 40 billion USD in damage. 

In a video interview in mid-August, Do Kwon announced that he had moved to Singapore out of concern for his family's safety.

However, responding to Reuters news agency , the Singapore police force announced that Do Kwon is currently not living here. However, the Singapore police said that they will always be ready to cooperate with the Korean police within the scope of Singapore's laws and international obligations to follow. 

 

Earlier, it was also reported that Korean prosecutors had asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country to cancel the passports of Do Kwon and 5 other people in the arrest warrant to avoid these people from escaping, but the result is unknown. .

In a personal statement issued later on Twitter, Mr. Do Kwon stated that he was ready to disclose his current location to those interested if there was a need to meet in person, otherwise he would keep this information confidential to protect personal privacy. The CEO of Terraform Labs also denied that he was "on the run" and would respond to requests for cooperation from any government. Mr. Do Kwon revealed that he will advocate for himself and the company in various countries in the coming months.

 

 

Currently, the prices of both LUNC and LUNA tokens have not shown many strong fluctuations after this announcement.
