Earlier in January of this year, MLB began selling NFTs through a partnership with Candy Digital, a digital asset company co-founded by CEOs of major web3 companies such as Mike Novogratz, Gary Vaynerchuk and Michael Rubin.

In addition, MLB also cooperates with Sorare to sell NFTs of some players in limited quantities. Since then became the official NFT baseball partner of Sorare.

Prior to that, in 2021, FTX became the official crypto partner of the American Baseball League to bring the floor's brand to MLB's global hit clothing and shoe lines.
